2. Hosting and technical log data

This website is hosted by Netlify. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technical connection and log data required to deliver the site. This may include IP address, date and time of access, requested content, browser and device information, referrer information, and status or error data.

The processing is necessary for secure, stable and technically reliable operation of the website and is based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Netlify acts as a technical service provider. Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, the provider uses the applicable safeguards for international data transfers.

3. Contact form

If you use our contact form, we process the information you provide: name, company/project (optional), email address, selected topic and message. An invisible honeypot field is also used to reduce spam.

The information is received through Netlify Forms and stored in the protected Netlify project area. Notifications about new enquiries are forwarded to an internal Google/Gmail mailbox. The email address you enter in the form is not displayed publicly.

The purpose is to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to take steps at your request before entering into a potential business relationship. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, depending on the nature of the enquiry.

Form data is deleted once the enquiry has been fully handled unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate documentation interests require longer storage.

4. Email communication

The public contact address kontakt@bulgariennah.com is technically operated via Zoho Mail. If you contact us directly by email, sender and recipient addresses, timestamps, subject, message content and technical delivery data are processed.

An internal Google/Gmail mailbox is additionally used for contact-form notifications. As a result, the content of a form enquiry may also be processed by Google as the email service provider. Processing is limited to handling the communication and is based on Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Cookies, analytics and tracking

The publicly accessible website currently does not use analytics, marketing or tracking cookies. We currently do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or comparable tracking services. For this reason, no cookie consent banner is currently displayed.

If consent-based analytics, marketing or third-party technologies are introduced in the future, this policy and the consent mechanism will be updated accordingly.

6. External links

This website contains links to external websites and digital products, including project and reference pages. A connection to an external provider is only established when you follow such a link. The respective provider is responsible for data processing on that external website.

7. Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as required for the respective purpose. Longer storage may be required by statutory retention obligations or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. Consent, where used, may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority in Bulgaria is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP).

9. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when the website, the services used or the applicable legal requirements change.
